I've completed the first of (hopefully) many video battle reports!
Any comments or suggestions would be welcome!
See Below for Video:
We have another battle coming up Friday, and this time it will be a close-in battle in a research lab...
EDIT:
I really appreciate all the advice people have sent my way, and I reworked and I've uploaded an updated video... I've included better quality images, pictures of minis, and a description of events. Hopefully this will give a better report *grin*
Flick and I played our game of Gruntz on friday and had a great time! It really came down to the last turn and the last move to see who would win!
We played about 100 points each on a 2x4 board and it was perfect. We could have upped the points too, but we felt that this gave us a quick, exciting game.
I'm still working on putting it all together, but i've done two quick video tests, and wanted to share them.
First, a downed Eagle with smoke showing...
A mech shoots a plasma projectile at the eagle, causing damage as the falcon flies by.
I know it's a little rough around the edges, but these would be quick cuts anyways, and I'm hoping to do a lot of them, so I won't be spending too much time on each one. Other than that, what do you guys think?
Edit: After looking at them for a bit, they are a bit chessy, but if you guys are OK with that, so am I :)
Metal 15mm SciFi Future War Neo British Miniatures
Right now he's at £1,781 of a £1,750 goal, with 14 days left to go!
These are some great looking miniatures, and can't wait to see the squads produced He also has some great stretch goals. I recommend heading over and supporting today!
I was thinking how I wanted a Commander that stood out a little. I've always liked the GZG conversion heads and I had found an extra NI command trooper, so I took a look at them and found a combination I liked.
It went together very easy. The helmet came right off, and then I just drilled down a little with the Pin Vise to create a small indent for the head.
I know the head is a little over-sized, but I think it looks good on the table. And it makes my commander stand out!
