Another Neo-British Shot - This time using the computer to control the camera

So, I don't know why I didn't do this before, but I was able to hook up my camera to my computer and really do fine level control and focus along with a live-preview.

Pretty cool stuff, came up with this:

A patrol over the summer tundra on colony planet FALK-A19

  1. You've you photography dialed-in, Mr. H.

  2. Uh-oh, this is entering the realm of 'Technology Beyond My Pay Grade'- looks great though!

  3. I think my wife's camera can in theory do this. But for me it falls under the category of "ain't nobody got time for that", as well as the category of "wizard magic". Also, for some reason my cheapo camera takes better macro shots.

That dude in the beret is gonna have a bad time - random debris is the perfect place to hide a booby trap or IED, so you don't poke around in it. Gorgeous tundra though.

    1. Haha... it actually wasn't too bad, but the software isn't the most user friendly in the world... I was able to use live preview on the camera and the computer to zoom in and make sure I focused where I wanted.
