Rebel Minis and Khurasan Miniatures - NuCoal Security Forces

The vehicle is a MATV Comanche from Rebel Minis and the infantry are the Khurasan Miniatures Federal Security Troopers.

The decals on the vehicles are from DP9.

I also added aerials from a brush I have sitting around :)

I need to order at least two more of these!

As always, comments and suggestions are appreciated!

  1. If you don't me asking, where did you get the streets Mr. Harold?

    1. They are from GameCraft miniatures:

they are 8.55" square... which means you need 9 for a 2'x2' board, but I really like them, he did a really nice job with them.

  3. Excellent as usual, Mr. Harold. I read on another blog some time ago, some negative comments about this vehicle from Rebel, to the effect that the casting was extremely poor, with a lot of detail lost on one side. I thought this quite surprising, as my experience of this company is entirely different. Was your casting of this piece in good order? I imagine the other one was an isolated incident.

    1. You know, it was a little rough, probably the roughest i've gotten from rebel. I was a little concerned how it would turn out, but once I painted it it did just fine. Some of the details, especially the door hinges, weren't as find as I'd like, but I don't think it detracts from the model.

  5. Looking very nice, like the added touch of the NuCoal transfers from DP9. And the surrounding scenery is as always, lovely.
